WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Transport biologicals, sharps, and other required supplies to clinic sites safely and securely.
• Provide patient care at the on-site and off-site clinic departments in accordance with established policies.
• Perform emergency response duties, consistent with training provided and in accordance with Hospital policy, including epinephrine administration during an anaphylaxis reaction.
• Document patient immunization including but not limited to immunization type, date, and refusal of vaccination.
• Review protocols and age-specific vaccine requirements prior to the opening of the clinic.
• Administer vaccines, drawing vaccine according to manufacturer’s instructions and administer to the patient using safe and proper techniques and a system of double checks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's degree required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) OR Registered Nurse (RN) required
• CPR certification required
• 1 year of Nursing/Patient Care and Pediatrics experience preferred

TRAVEL IS REQUIRED:

Up to 75%
